LOH Charity Dinner

And here it is:

The much awaited Ladies of Harley Charity Dinner night of nights took place on Saturday 1st August at none other than the new Cala Lido by Marriott Malta and what an amazing turn out it was! 57 members came to partake of the event's glamorous and sumptuous Buffett Dinner.

Like the Knights and Ladies of iron horses, they all sat at round tables decked with free-flowing wine and beer. The night was hot as ambient temperatures soared but none were deterred and one and all greeted each other with laughter and genuine friendship these events have become well known for.  Some new faces and family members also joined just as a reminder of the Malta Chapter's ever-growing family too. The wonderful banter was only interrupted by the clicking of mobile cameras as members took photograph after photograph of each other together to preserve this event for posterity too.

Jokes and laughter apart it was time to get up and walk over to the plentiful buffet tables for the amazing choice of starters and fresh salads and meats of all flavours and fusions the Marriott Malta excels at. What a gastronomic delight this buffet dinner was!

Then it was time for the speech by our dear Ladies of Harley Officers, Phyllis and Barbara. What a heartfelt and honestly moving speech Phyllis gave with a genuine thank you going out to everyone who participated in making this really a night of nights for Charity. She applauded the members' support in sharing this amazing evening together. Phyllis also paid tribute to all those who donated to this event resulting in the on-the-spot collection of 583 Euros! What big hearts of gold our members have! She then went on to thank the sponsors for their generosity and vouchers donated as prizes for the LOH raffle :

Their generosity and support helped make this charity event the great success it was. "Together, we will make a real difference in our community", Phyllis enthusiastically concluded.

As always, the Malta Chapter's raffles are a source of joking around and laughter as winner after winner walked up to collect their prizes against a multitude of applause and comradery.

What an amazing stary night it was with our Ladies of Harley Malta Chapter ❤️ far exceeding everyone's expectations on their first charity event! Watch this space as there is more to come!
