The Night of Nights.

Tuesday night at Farsons Brewery was round 2 for the Malta Chapter meet-up — and what a party it was. We were celebrating 100 days of the new HOG Malta Chapter, and let’s just say we packed a lot of “firsts” into those 100 days.

EXCO kicked things off by welcoming everyone, old and new. For the first time ever, we’ve got brand-new members joining the new Malta Chapter directly. Director Jean called it a “feather in our cap” — and then spent a few minutes singing praises to EXCO, the other Officers, and all the volunteers who’ve been holding this thing together. Treasurer Sergio was beaming about how we’ve “twinned together” through all of it.

Assistant Director Silvio was proud too — 115+ members and counting! Big shoutout to Audrey and Mario, our Membership Officers, for handling all the paperwork and HOG International registrations without losing their minds. Tonio gave props to the Media crew: Editor Mike Camenzuli aka Vigo, photographer Alexia and yours truly as Chapter Historian. Translation: lots of good photos of us looking cool on bikes.

Our Activities Officer Oliver expressed great satisfaction with the safety and good road culture all members are exhibiting on our local rides and activities. A satisfaction, Sandro our Safety Officer also shared among the members present. Then our globetrotting Ambassador Gordon also expressed great satisfaction in member's enthusiasm for group riding abroad citing among others the group's participation in the Cugini Run, Senigallia and Cascais HOG Rallies, Mugello Harley Bagger Races and even as far away as the Himalayas where our Chapter flag is flying proud thanks to our adventurer John!. Go big or go home, right? And we’re not done yet. Gordon dropped the plans: Catania Dealership + Etna run in October, European Bike Week in Faak am See, Austria in September, and we’ll close the 2026 season with the legendary Italian HOG Inverno party in Genoa this November.

The Ladies of Harley — Barbara and Phyllis — got a standing ovation for their first-ever dinner at Buffalo Bills at Portomaso last week. Legend status.

Patch time!

First up: EXCO got their official titles pinned.

Jean = Director

Silvio = Assistant Director + Membership Head

Sergio = Treasurer

Tonio = Media Boss

Oliver = Activities Officer

Sandro = Safety Officer

Then all the Officers and Road Captains got their official Chapter patches. Finally, the new members got initiated by being patched in as well. Cue lots of proud chests and photo ops.

Merch sold out fast too — new summer T-shirts, pin badges, and those gorgeous Malta Chapter mugs. Blink and you missed them. Group photos happened. Or rather, group photo-bombing happened.

After that, we got down to serious business: food, drinks, and watching England vs Ghana in the World Cup. Because Harleys + football = perfect combo.All in all: a star-studded night, great company, bikes we love, bellies full, laughs loud, and yes… that football 😄
